“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” (2 Corinthians 4:6-7, ESV)
When we feel the sun beaming down on our faces, we experience the physical reality of it’s radiance and heat. So in the same way we can enjoy times of unhindered communion with the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). During those times we embrace the radiance of His countenance. In our pursuit of God we see his glory in the face of Jesus Christ. This experience of spiritually seeing God, happens as we pursue His presence through Scripture meditation, and prayer.
Those who answer the call to be sons and daughters of God are brought into his family through the Spirit of adoption. As adopted children we have the unique privilege of experiencing and feeling his affection for us. We are God’s temple and his holy habitation. Life inside the Trinity is family life. If you are in Christ you can partake of this family life in God. The invitation to come into His presence is available everyday.
