You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. (John 5:39-40 ESV)

Salvation is not found in a prayer or some religious formula, but in the Divine Person known to mankind as Jesus of Nazareth. The narrow path of salvation comes through faith and trust in the Person of Jesus Christ who is God’s own Son.

The true path to our heavenly Father comes exclusively through Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6.) We can only pursue God and life in the Spirit after the Holy Spirit first begins to pursue us. The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us and draws us into the life of the Trinity. The Holy Trinity is: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The scriptural concept of the Trinity is a community of the three Divine Persons, being one in perfect love and unity. Many have assumed that salvation is all about a prayer of “accepting Jesus” but have failed to see that it is about entering into the life of God through his Son by the Holy Spirit.

This life we have entered into, by faith in Jesus’ sacrificial death for our sins and in his resurrection from the dead is called, life in the Kingdom. Living in the Kingdom of God is experiencing a foretaste of God’s rule on the earth now.The Kingdom is eternal in nature and is occupied by disciples of Jesus Christ. The exact moment in time when we are born again by the Spirit from above, we enter into the divine life for all eternity.
